Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coweta). They blew past the Memorial Chargers 17-1 on Monday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Coweta let Josh McDermott and Logan McKinney run wild. McDermott scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while McKinney scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. The dominant performance also gave McDermott a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Trace Hall, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Coweta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. Memorial dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coweta will have a chance to go back-to-back against Memorial: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
