Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Rich, who rushed for 87 yards and two scores on only ten carries, and also threw for 167 yards and one touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes. Rich also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Quincy also got a significant boost from Ayden Carnes, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Quincy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Cooper Driscoll, Anthony Warndorf, and Rich picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Los Molinos came up short against Biggs on Friday and fell 28-21. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Quincy's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Los Molinos, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
