Columbia moved up to 377 from 420 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Patriot - Stripes. The Raiders were able to make move up by topping Fairview 35-7.
Columbia extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Warriors, 35-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for Jason Ward's team.
Roger Engle and Chad Anderson gave Clearview a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Engle threw for 75 yards and one touchdown, while Anderson ran for 288 yards. Teammate Anthony Alston added to the ground attack by rushing for 32 yards.
Tyler Edmiston was the best wideout in the league this week as the Raiders bested Fairview. Edmiston tallied three receptions for 66 yards. Jesse Lambert helped Columbia's passing attack out by catching two balls for five yards.
Clearview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Clippers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Engle has thrown for 1268 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Gerrell Williams has 22 catches for 565 yards. Anderson leads the league in rushing with 1369 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Columbia takes on second place Clearview. Last week, Columbia beat Tom Narducci's team, while the Clippers defeated Brooklyn.
