Hunter McHargue and Javier Dominguez provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Torrey Pines. The connection was good for 61 yards, the longest such play in Palomar this season.
Poway extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Carlsbad, 35-13. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Titans.
6-foot-3 quarterback McHargue of Ramona is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1102. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. On the ground, Rancho Bernardo's Ivy Adair has rushed for 1278 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Codv Williams. The Westview star has 33 catches for 566 yards.
A big matchup in Palomar this week will be when the Bulldogs take on Westview. Ramona is in third place, while the Wolverines are in first place.
Westview took down the Broncos 41-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
