After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, Cuyama Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Shandon Outlaws 68-39. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cuyama Valley picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Shandon, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cuyama Valley will welcome Maricopa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuyama Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Shandon, they will host San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
