The Handley Judges can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by James Wood on the road to the tune of 65-29. The victory was just business As usual For Handley, who after 21 games remain undefeated this season.
Despite the loss, James Wood still got an impressive performance from Brooklynn Medina, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 41.4% of James Wood's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Fritz, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Handley pushed their record up to 21-0 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road. As for James Wood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.
Handley will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orange County at 6:00 p.m. Handley's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Orange County's offense will have their work cut out for them. James Wood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
