Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter walked away with a 60-48 victory over Triton Central on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter.
Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Highbaugh, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Highbaugh hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Devin Bolden, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Sego, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Crouse, who scored 16 points.
Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Triton Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will take on Covenant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Triton Central will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Monrovia at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Monrovia is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Triton Central is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
