The Neshaminy Skins came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Bensalem by a score of 56-47. This was payback for Neshaminy, who suffered a 46-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Neshaminy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nate Townsend, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Guy Horton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Neshaminy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Bensalem, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.
Neshaminy will head out on the road to take on Upper Dublin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Upper Dublin is on a three-game streak of home wins, Neshaminy a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Bensalem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
