The Gregori Jaguars and the Enochs Eagles, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Gregori barely beat Turlock the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars blew past the Bulldogs 18-6 last Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Sienna Villanueva was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Gregori got a massive performance out of Layah Belle, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Belle a new career-high. Julyssa Silva also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Gregori kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Turlock only managed ten.
Meanwhile, Enochs got the win against Pitman last Thursday by a conclusive 11-5.
Kaylee Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lillian Camarena, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Camila Ramirez, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Gregori's record is now 7-5. As for Enochs, their record now sits at 7-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Gregori has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Enochs struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
