Spencer came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Fork Warhawks a 7-0 shutout. Considering Spencer have won 17 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Spencer pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 70 goals over those ten matches. As for West Fork, they moved to 10-6-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Fork, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southeast Polk on the 28th.
