On Tuesday, Immanuel Christian was the victim of a tough 76-50 loss at the hands of Seton. While losing is never fun, Immanuel Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Seton is ranked 22nd).
Josh Choat and Bryan Musafi certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Choat scored eight points, while Musafi scored ten points along with five rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Musafi. Another player making a difference was Gus Jackson, who scored eight points.
Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Seton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to face off against St. Michael the Archangel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Michael the Archangel is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Seton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Christ Chapel Academy at 7:00 p.m. Christ Chapel Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
