Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Woodlan Warriors walked away with it. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 54-41 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for Woodlan as they're now sitting on four straight.
Woodlan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alyssa Anderson led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
Woodlan will take on the Railroaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
