Rainier had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Tenino Beavers 55-35. The Mountaineers have beaten the Beavers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Beavers has come to flipping the script.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rainier will square off against Onalaska at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Mountaineers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Tenino, they will challenge Kalama at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
