Memorial Day was led to victory by  Johnkeria Miles and  Lillie Brown.  Miles  dropped  a double-double with 21  points and 15  rebounds, while  Brown  went 12-for-14  en route to 24 points in addition to six  boards and five  steals. Miles also  grabbed five  steals, which is notable because Memorial Day is 12-4 when she posts  at  least  five  steals, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Nyla Edwards, who  posted five points along with 13  rebounds and three  steals.
 Memorial Day  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 20  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 17  offensive rebounds in ten consecutive  matchups.
Memorial Day has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season. As for Twiggs Academy,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-16.
 Looking ahead, Memorial Day will square off against Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday. Twiggs Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
