City Honors had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-2 to make it eight.  City Honors saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Prisca Jebereza, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base. Another  was  Kaitlyn Willis, who  got on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
As for Alden,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 13-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six  runs or more this season.
On Alden's side,  Molly Earsing was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Earsing was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sawyer Faso, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.  Lilly Bromstead was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Looking ahead, City Honors will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against Da Vinci  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Alden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
