Berkeley came tearing into Monday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers by a score of 57-49. Given the Stags' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 23rd in South Carolina, while the Chargers are ranked 227th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Bone, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The contest was Bone's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Caleb Sanders was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points and three blocks.

Berkeley's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Berkeley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-44 defeat against Summerville on the 3rd. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-46 loss against Jones County on the 7th.
