The Pyramid Lake Lakers waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 60-32 win over Sage Ridge. Pyramid Lake pushed the score to 49-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Sage Ridge had little chance of recovering from.
Takoda Rivers was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylen Patrick, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Pyramid Lake is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Sage Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
Pyramid Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-43 loss vs. Smith Valley on the 9th. Sage Ridge has also already played their next contest, a 60-25 win against Whittell on the 9th.
