Jim Ned had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Merkel Badgers a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Indians have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jim Ned's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Merkel, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
