The Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Scotties will face off against the St. Ignatius/Charlo/Arlee Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Friday, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua got the win against Shelby by a conclusive 16-2. The result was nothing new for the Scotties, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brynlie Boreson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Tessa Studheit was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Jensina Tweten was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, St. Ignatius/Charlo/Arlee entered their tilt with Thompson Falls back in April with six consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Blue Hawks.
Alecia Steele and Maia Christopher did most of the damage at the plate: Steele went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Christopher went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Avia Lee, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for St. Ignatius/Charlo/Arlee, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
