Palm Valley is 3-0 against Noli Indian since December of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Palm Valley FIREBIRDS will head out on the road to face off against the Noli Indian Braves at 3:15 p.m. Hopefully Palm Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Thursday.
Even though Palm Valley has not done well against Desert Chapel recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Palm Valley strolled past Desert Chapel with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. Winning may never get old, but Palm Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Matteo Lam, who scored 20 points along with six assists and two steals. Alex Ratner was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 17 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Noli Indian didn't have too much trouble with Weaver at home on Thursday as they won 45-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Noli Indian.
Among those leading the charge was Caden Almanza, who scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Salgado, who scored nine points.
Palm Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Noli Indian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Everything came up roses for Palm Valley against Noli Indian when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 62-30 victory. Does Palm Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Noli Indian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
