Quinn Yoder was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Landyn Loring was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
The win was the eighth in a row for Horizon Christian, bringing their record for this year to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 23 of their last 27 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 278-1079-2 record this season.
Horizon Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. Indiana Math & Science Academy North will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Horizon Christian is ranked 180th). Varsity Opponent will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Maranatha Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
