Minersville won the last time they faced Marian Catholic and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Battlin' Miners put the hurt on Marian Catholic with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Battlin' Miners, who have now won nine games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Isabella Cruz was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isabella Rizzardi, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Minersville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Minersville and bumps their season record up to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Marian Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Minersville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Williams Valley on the 8th. As for Marian Catholic, they have also already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 8th.
