Given Cornerstone Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Liberty Christian Academy is ranked 642nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Joseph Lemmon, who scored 35 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Cornerstone Christian Academy's points. Jaylen Bennett was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The win was the fourth in a row for Cornerstone Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
