The Euclid Panthers lost against the Brush Arcs back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Euclid fell just short of Brush by a score of 48-45. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Euclid in their matchups with Brush: they've now lost four in a row.
Euclid's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thai Duncan, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachai Spikes, who scored 11 points.
Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brush, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Euclid will head out on the road to face off against Medina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brush, they will square off against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
