Green Sea Floyds have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on Timmonsville at Timmonsville HS at 6:00 PM. Green Sea Floyds are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Green Sea Floyds beat Loris 32-28 four weeks ago.
Meanwhile, if Timmonsville were riding high off their 40-14 takedown of Scott's Branch two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Timmonsville took a 6-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hemingway. Timmonsville's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Green Sea Floyds's win lifted them to 2-2 while Timmonsville's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. We'll see if Green Sea Floyds' success rolls on or if Timmonsville are able to steal their positive momentum.
