North Sanpete is on  a  three-game streak of home wins, while Canyon View is on  a  six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hawks will welcome the Falcons  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
North Sanpete's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They blew past South Summit 10-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 Preston Madsen and  Hudson Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Madsen   tossed 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Meanwhile,  Smith   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because North Sanpete is 3-1 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 5-8 otherwise. At the plate,  Madsen  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and three  runs, while  Smith  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  Smith has posted since back in March.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maddex Bailey, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. North Sanpete is 2-1 when  Bailey posts three or  more  hits, but 6-8 otherwise.  Wyatt Williams was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 North Sanpete  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Summit struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Canyon View got the win against Manti  on Wednesday by a conclusive  15-3. Considering the Falcons have won ten matchups by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Brady Anderson made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched six innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with four  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news, Canyon View got a  massive  performance out of  Zach Maine, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Chandler McClellan, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 North Sanpete's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Canyon View, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
 North Sanpete beat Canyon View 8-5  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Will the Hawks repeat their success,  or do  the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
