Eastern View won the last time they met up with Spotsylvania, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything came up roses for Eastern View against Spotsylvania on Friday as the squad secured a 63-21 victory. Followers of Eastern View probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Eastern View's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Spotsylvania countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 34-14 going into the half. Eastern View put the game away in the third quarter with 22 points from the offense and seven points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 6-0. The defeat dropped Spotsylvania's record to 2-3.
Next week Eastern View take on Chancellor at 7:00 PM. Eastern View will be strutting in after a victory while Chancellor will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Spotsylvania, they will face off against Caroline. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
