They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 60-25 victory over Shaw. Central might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 28 points or more this season.
Shaw's loss came despite strong showings from Mariah Pacheco and Jade Ervin. Pacheco scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds, while Ervin scored 8 points.
The win got Central back to even at 5-5. As for Shaw, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Central will head out on the road to face off against Huntsville at 3:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Shaw, they will be playing at home against Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Shaw is ranked 201st).
