The biggest upset of the week belonged to Weehawken, who defeated 303rd ranked Emerson, 29-26. Oliver Molano threw for 59 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 65 yards during the win.
St. Mary added to the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Patriot this week by beating Wallington, 55-8. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Gaels.
Austin Urbaez provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bogota fell to Saddle Brook. He completed 7 passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 194 yards. Urbaez's key target this week was Cyrus Crayton, who caught 4 passes for 75 yards.
Brian Kowalczyk was the best receiver in the league this week as the Panthers lost to St. Mary. Kowalczyk racked up 6 receptions for 110 yards. Jose Bonilla helped Wallington's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 45 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Wallington's Ryan Adzima and Kowalczyk have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Adzima has thrown for 2,382 yards this season, while Kowalczyk has 56 catches for 976 yards. Keon Banks from Mike Sheridan's team leads the league in rushing with 1,088 yards.
Kowalczyk of the Barry Blauvelt's team's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 24 receiving yards in this week's game against Elmwood Park to get there. So far this year, he has acheived 56 catches for 976 yards.
