It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodbridge can now relate to. They took a hard 49-33 fall against the North Stafford Wolverines on Saturday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Woodbridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Tucker, who threw for 340 yards and four touchdowns. Tucker has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Woodbridge's leading receiver Vinnie Hill Jr. was Tucker's top target yet again, picking up 126 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 11-2. As for North Stafford, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Woodbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Stafford, they will face off against West Springfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
