It was a good run, but the Bolton Central Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a tough blow as they fell 34-20 to Seton Catholic Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bolton Central has scored all season.
Seton Catholic Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Grace Trombley out in front who scored 12 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Trombley has scored at least a third of Seton Catholic Central's points. Gabriella Conti was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bolton Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Seton Catholic Central, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Bolton Central will head out on the road to face off against Crown Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolton Central's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Crown Point's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will be playing at home against Northern Adirondack at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
