The Egyptian Pharaohs's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against Agape Christian by a score of 56-45. For Egyptian, this counts as revenge for the 53-39 loss Agape Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Brandon Plott was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Egyptian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarion Clark, who scored 20 points.
Egyptian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-20 record this season. As for Agape Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Egyptian will take on Cobden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Egyptian is facing Cobden at the right time seeing as Cobden is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Agape Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Christian Fellowship at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
