Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyons). They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Red Creek Rams on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Lyons' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-12. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Red Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyons will welcome Mynderse Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Finney at 4:45 p.m.
