The Pelham Panthers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against Altamont as Pelham made off with a 55-31 victory.
Pelham found their leader in underclassman Tee King, who scored 21 points. The game was King's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Gerren Ingram was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Altamont's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Payton Daniels, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Battle, who scored 8 points.
Pelham's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Altamont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
Pelham will square off against Jasper at TBD on Tuesday. Jasper presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pelham in Alabama (Jasper is ranked 47th, while Pelham is ranked 142nd). Altamont won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pell City at 9:00 a.m. on November 21st. Hopefully Pell City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday.
