Basketball Recap: South Effingham Takes a Loss

South Effingham lost against St. Andrew back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs were outmatched by the Lions and fell 77-46. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, South Effingham still got an impressive performance from Michael Hall, who posted 21 points and six boards. The contest was Hall's third in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Williams, who earned six points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.

South Effingham now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Andrew's, the victory was the 17th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

South Effingham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-48 loss against Calvary Day on the 21st. As for St. Andrew's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-50 defeat against Bradwell Institute on the 21st.
