Boardman is a perfect 10-0 against Harding since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spartans will venture away from home to challenge the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Boardman has four straight wins, Harding has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Boardman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Howland with a sharp 12-3 victory on Monday. Considering the Spartans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Tori Strines made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Strines was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addie Rudge, who fired off three home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in runs (three). Another player making a difference was Mikayla Rivera, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.
Boardman lost a few balls and finished the game with six home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Harding came up short against Badger on Monday, falling 10-4.
Karly Trisler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and nine unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. Those hits were her first of the season.
On the hitting side, Azarriah Phillips made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-4.
Boardman pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Harding, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Harding's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Boardman hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Harding, though, as they've only averaged .235. Will they be able to contain Boardman's hitters?
Boardman took their win against Harding in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
