Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] won the last time they faced Neligh-Oakdale and Kaylee Thiele did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats blew past the Warriors 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Thiele, who had 22 digs. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last six times she's played.

While Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-19.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will venture away from home to take on Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wynot on the 11th.
