Miyamura took down Bloomfield 38-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach Shank threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
Belen made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,617 from 3,054.
The Patriots' Shank and Anthony Esquibel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 4A District 6 in both passing and receiving yards. Shank has thrown for 1258 yards this season, while Esquibel has 23 catches for 339 yards. Jalen Chavez from Los Lunas leads the league in rushing with 621 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Eagles and the Tigers. Belen comes into the matchup ranked 12th in the state, while Los Lunas ranks fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when John Lerma's team takes on Jeremy Newton's team. The Eagles have allowed 89 points this season, while the Tigers have given up 44.
Miyamura led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Bobcats. Shank in the win.
