Volleyball Recap: Allatoona Has No Trouble Against Cass

Allatoona not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 20, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Cass Colonels as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Allatoona was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-8, 25-14.

Madi Heard paced Allatoona's offense, picking up 13 kills. Heard got some help from Lk Lamonica and her 30 assists. Lamonica was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Allatoona's victory bumped their record up to 33-9. As for Cass, they are on a 22-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-30.

Looking ahead, Allatoona will face off against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cass does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
