Calvary Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against LaSalle on Friday 30-18. That result is just more of the same for Calvary Christian Academy, who also won the last time these teams played.
LaSalle's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Deondre Dozier, who rushed for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Dominique Vidal, who racked up 10 tackles.
The win got Calvary Christian Academy out to a 1-0 start for the season. The loss dropped LaSalle back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week, Calvary Christian Academy take on Pine Crest at 7:00 PM. LaSalle will look to defend their home turf next week against Benjamin at 7:00 PM.
