Owen has won four straight games at home, while Madison has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Warhorses will host the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Owen knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Madison likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Owen got the win against Rosman by a conclusive 13-1. Considering the Warhorses have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

04/04/25 vs Draughn | 8 |
Sophie Neal was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs.
In other batting news, Payten Brockman was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Kylie Gurecky was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
Owen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosman only managed eight hits.
Meanwhile, Madison had just enough and edged out Draughn 5-4 on Monday.
Like Owen, Madison also got a great game from a two-way player: Carrie Gunter. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Gunter was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
Gunter wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Ball, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Owen is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Owen has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. However, it's not like Madison struggles in that department as they've averaged .478. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Owen took their victory against Madison in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-3 score. Will the Warhorses repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
