For Sauquoit Valley, this counts as revenge for the 72-68 defeat Cooperstown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Cooperstown's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Murdock, who scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Sauquoit Valley's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cooperstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
