When it comes to explaining why Riverton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Parker Paxton. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points. That was a full 43.8% of Riverton's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Darrick DeVries was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Riverton now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Rock Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
