McMichael is 5-0 against North Forsyth since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The McMichael Phoenix will head out on the road to square off against the North Forsyth Vikings at 6:00 p.m. McMichael is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
After only two points in their last contest, McMichael made sure to put some points up on the board against Reidsville on Friday. McMichael simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Reidsville 59-14 at home. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for McMichael this season.
Meanwhile, North Forsyth came up short against West Stokes on Friday and fell 35-25.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nyemia Sides, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Odugba, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
McMichael is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for North Forsyth, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14.
McMichael didn't have too much breathing room in their match against North Forsyth in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 37-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for McMichael since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
