The Pleasant Valley Bears made easy work of the Pottsville Crimson Tide on Friday and carried off a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Kailyn Getz made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
