The Olympic Heights Lions pushed their score all the way to 75 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 84-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of Atlantic. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), Olympic Heights still had to take the loss.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Cadet, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Harbatkin, who scored 20 points.
Olympic Heights' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Atlantic, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.
Olympic Heights and Monarch will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Monarch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday. As for Atlantic, they will head out on the road to challenge Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boca Raton will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
