Things were looking good for Cypress Creek after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of River Ridge by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Coyotes have lost by just one run.
Cypress Creek got a good showing from Colton Burrmann, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Burrmann is becoming a predictor of Cypress Creek's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 3-1 (and 4-6 when he doesn't).
