The Thunder Basin Bolts lost against the Cody Broncs back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Thunder Basin suffered a tough 69-44 defeat at the hands of Cody. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Thunder Basin in their matchups with Cody: they've now lost five in a row.
Loss or not, Thunder Basin got some senior leadership from Kambel Cox who scored 17 points and Rylee Hudson who scored 11 points. Cox scored a full 38.6% of Thunder Basin's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Thunder Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cody, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Thunder Basin has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Century at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Cody, they will head out on the road to face off against Powell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
