Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gary West Side). They were the clear victor by a 77-57 margin over the Marquette Catholic Blazers on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the loss, Marquette Catholic still got an impressive performance from Cole Dobre, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the most rebounds Dobre has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Josiah Mays, who posted 13 points.

Gary West Side now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Marquette Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Gary West Side and Kenwood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marquette Catholic, they will host Culver Academies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Marquette Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.
