After two games on the road, Therrell is heading back home. They will take on the Washington Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Therrell will be strutting in after a victory while the Bulldogs will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Mount Paran Christian scored an imposing 55 points on Saturday, Therrell still came out on top. Therrell snuck past the Eagles with a 60-55 victory.
Therrell found their leader in underclassman Gordon Davis, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Davis scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwon Young, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Washington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 59-35 loss at the hands of Drew Charter. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Washington struggled afterwards.
Therrell's victory bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Washington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
